On Tuesday, delegates attending the 12th session of Working Group II (WGII-12) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) continued their consideration of the Summary for Policymakers (SPM) of the WGII contribution to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6). Three plenary sessions took place during the day, addressing:
- the introductory section of the SPM and a diagram within that section intended to set the stage for the reader;
- climate-resilient development; and
- future adaptation options and their feasibility.
Throughout the day, delegates also gathered in contact groups focusing on the subsection on observed impacts from climate change, which had been considered in plenary discussions on Monday.
