Huddle

Delegates convene in a huddle on the fourth day of IPCC-61.

Delegates to the 61st session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change continued pushing through the agenda on Wednesday, mixing some shorter agenda items with more time-consuming work in order to make the most of the time available.

In addition to continuing discussions on the outline of the methodological report on short-lived climate forcers and the Special Report on Climate Change and Cities, delegates heard reports on activities undertaken under the IPCC Scholarship Programme and from the Secretariats of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).

Delegates convened in morning, afternoon, and evening plenaries, and met in huddles during breaks to continue discussions on some of the more complex topics on their agenda.
