The side event ‘Decarbonizing the Cities and Communities through Distributed Energy Resources and Transition’ took place on Wednesday, 5 December 2018 during the Katowice Climate Change Conference – December 2018 (COP 24).This video features the efforts of Delta Electronics Foundation and other organizations that are facilitating energy transition in cities, with a focus on the building sector. The event was organized by Delta Electronics Foundation and the Renewable Energy Institute, with the support of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, the U.S. Green Building Council, and the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy.
