On Wednesday, 18 May, the side event “Measuring national REDD+ performance for the promise of results-based finance” took place in Bonn, Germany. Discussions focused on key prerequisites for results-based finance: performance, benefit sharing, multi-level governance and incentives of land use, and safeguards following the conclusion of the Paris Agreement, which placed forests at the heart of the climate agenda. This side event was organized by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (FSU Jena).
This video was produced by Nicole De Paula, Ph.D., and filmed/edited by Hernán Aguilar.
