The event “Our Global Commons: An International Dialogue,” was convened by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) on 12-13 October 2016. This meeting was preceded by a Science Day on the 11 October to review new scientific findings and transformative solutions to rethink the global commons. Participants engaged in discussions on innovative ways to disrupt the systems that drive pressures on our global commons.
