Streams:
On Thursday,
11 September, participants to the Vth World Parks Congress met
in seven workshop streams throughout the day to address:
interlinkages in the landscape and seascape; building broader
support for protected areas; governance; developing the capacity
to manage protected areas; evaluating management effectiveness;
building a secure financial future; and building comprehensive
protected area systems. All workshops held an introductory
Plenary sessions, followed by breakout groups.
