Climate Solutions 2013: World Climate Summit on The Road to Paris and WBCSD Business Day on Climate Solutions in Action

Business Day has been a regular side event organized by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP) since 2007. The World Climate Summit, meanwhile, has been organized by World Climate Ltd since 2010. This year, the two organisations have come together to combine the two events, and organize the World Climate Summit - Warsaw Business Day at the COP 19 in Warsaw, Poland, on 17 & 18 November 2013. The event will bring together business, global institutions and government leaders to discuss solutions, actions and policies to mitigate and adapt to climate change, with a focus on driving collaborative climate change solutions.
IISD RS will cover the WBCSD Business Day on 18 November, which will address Climate Solutions in Action, focused on Big Ideas from business to contribute to closing the ambition gap and longer-term solutions, and the convergence of activities and agendas which will be critical for a successful climate change agreement in 2015.
