Wednesday morning's Joint session of the SBSTA and SBI
At a joint meeting of the Subsidiary Bodies for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and Implementation delegations began to set out their views on the Kyoto Protocols flexibility mechanisms, namely Joint Implementation, the Clean Development Mechanism and Emissions Trading. They also signaled their positions on the development of an action plan for follow up work on the elaboration of rules and guidelines. A number of the contributions to the debate follow:
